After their Colour of Africa project crossed borders to South Africa, Nhaka Gallery is proud to present ‘Music Meets Fine Art,’ a groundbreaking exhibition that fuses the worlds of music and visual art.
The show opens on the 11th of october. and will run until 11th of November, offering a rare opportunity for art lovers and music enthusiasts to experience the rich interplay of two vibrant creative mediums.The exhibition explores the powerful relationship between music and visual expression, featuring works from leading Zimbabwean and international artists who draw inspiration from musical rhythms, instruments, and the broader soundscapes of life.
Through a diverse array of paintings, sculptures, and mixed media, ‘Music Meets Fine Art’ delves into how sound can translate into color, form, and texture, creating a unique sensory experience.The exhibition will include an interactive installation whereby visitors can engage with multi-sensory works where sound and art meet in real-time.

Musicians that will be in attendance for the exhibition opening include Ammara Brown, Gemma Griffiths, Victor Kunonga, Mwenje Mathole and Alexio Kawara. A surprise artist is also expected to grace the event.
