Zimbabwean international model Future Nyoni made history by winning three prestigious titles at the recently concluded Mister Africa 2024 pageant held in Sierra Leone on December 22.

The 12th edition of the Mister Africa International pageant was held in Freetown, Sierra Leone and Stephen Sunday from Uganda was crowned the winner. The 1st runner-up title was awarded to a representative from Nigeria and Nyoni rounded out the podium with an impressive performance that secured his place as one of standout contender in the highly competitive Mister Africa.

Nyoni was further awarded Mister Southern Africa and Heart of Africa gongs. Nyoni’s impressive triple win is a testament to his hard work, dedication and passion for modeling.

This edition brought together 10 countries across Africa with mostly Western and Eastern African countries represented. Nyoni was the only sole representative from Southern Africa.

Nyoni’s advocacy for refugee education has been a hallmark of his career. He is calling for donations to support the construction of classrooms in refugee camps, particularly through the PAWA Foundation, a non-profit organization based in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) that conducts activities across Africa.

PAWA Foundation’s work includes providing education and healthcare services to vulnerable communities, promoting cultural exchange programs, and supporting economic empowerment initiatives.

“I believe that education is the key to unlocking the potential of refugee children,” Nyoni said.

“I urge everyone to join me in supporting this noble cause. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of these deserving children.”
